The function of your hearing aid is essential to your ability to maintain a high quality of life. While the function and design of hearing aids have advanced greatly over the years, they do still occasionally malfunction, especially if they aren’t cleaned or maintained properly. Fortunately, if anything goes wrong with your hearing aid, you can simply bring it into The Hearing Group to have it repaired.
If your hearing aid has stopped functioning or is having issues, then check the following:
If none of these issues are behind the problem, then we can inspect your hearing aid for you to determine what the source of the problem is and make the necessary repairs.
Our audiologists and technicians are all fully licensed and certified. In most cases, we should be able to inspect and repair your hearing aid in-office. When it comes to issues related to your hearing aid’s receivers, speakers, domes, battery doors, tubes and wax guard, we should be able to perform repairs during your visit. We are capable of performing repairs on numerous brands, including the following:
If we are unable to repair your hearing aid in office, then we will send it to the manufacturer for repair, whether it’s in warranty or out of warranty. We will provide you with a loaner hearing aid while it’s out for repair. If you require a loaner hearing aid and you are a new patient you will need to bring a recent hearing test with you. If you don’t bring a recent hearing test with you one of our audiologists or dispenser will need to test your hearing.
If your hearing aid is experiencing issues, then be sure to contact us at The Hearing Group in New Jersey by calling us at (973) 542-4031 to schedule an appointment today.
