New Jersey’s Trusted Hearing Aid Dispensary Center
The Hearing Group of New Jersey is a hearing center focusing on hearing evaluations for all ages. We are dedicated to helping you find the right assistive listening device to help improve your hearing. At our hearing center, New Jersey audiologists are specially trained in the proper programming hearing instruments by the manufacturers, Oticon, Phonak, Lyric and Widex. We also offer free batteries for three years. Educating our clients is a top priority because we want you to feel empowered and confident when taking this important step.
The Process We Use
Make an appointment or walk into our office during normal business hours. Our audiologists will demonstrate the use of the various listening devices we have available. An evaluation only takes about a half hour. For the best accuracy, you will be tested in a soundproof booth. We use various methods of testing, and we can also evaluate you for ringing in the ears, a condition known as tinnitus. Whatever your hearing issues happen to be, we can treat your concerns in a non-medical fashion.
Our process also involves an evaluation as well as a Complete Hearing Health Care program, where your hearing aids well be checked twice a year. Under the same program, children will be seen every 90 days. This program also includes free hearing aid maintenance. At the same time, you are free to obtain your complimentary hearing aid batteries.
We’ll Find the Right Hearing Aid Tailored for You
We understand how important digital connectivity is to many of our clients. That’s why some of our hearing aids offer connectivity to smartphones using Bluetooth technology. This feature allows you to eliminate noise and annoying buzzing, creating a clearer sound. Also, by downloading an application, you can stream phone calls and music directly to your hearing aid. Ask our staff what a Bluetooth connected hearing aid can do for you.
Hearing aids are also available in various colors. Choose from standard colors such as slate or gray, as well as brown, bronze, beige, and black. We offer the standard devices, behind the ear hearing aids, as well as custom-fitted hearing aids that fit into the ear canal. While helping you choose the right model, we will also offer maintenance tips, such as how to detect a device that is not functioning properly.
